A Few First-Rate Major Motion Picture Story Lines

Until recently, if you wanted to watch a movie, a trip to a video store like blockbuster was your only option. Instead of buying or renting the dvd, people now can choose a movie download instead. Here are some examples of movies you can acquire through a movie download site.

First Knight: This movie tells the story of the love, and betrayal that King Arthur had to endure. The true love of his life, Guinevere, and Lancelot, a daring Knight he comes to love and trust like a brother, fell in love when Lancelot saved her from an ambush as she was traveling to marry King Arthur. This indiscretion will bring unbearable heartache to all involved.

Mysterious Island: Intentionally paced fantasy venture based on 2-part Jules Verne novel, a continuation to his 20,000 Leagues under the Sea. Confederate jail escapees hijack a hot air balloon and are blown off course. They find themselves on an uncharted island with monstrous animals. Incredible visual effects by Ray Harryhausen and an exciting Bernard Herrmann score. Cast includes Michael Craig, Joan Greenwood, Michael Callan, Gary Merrill, and Herbert Lorn. (101 minutes, 1951)

Light It Up: Well-intentioned although preachy drama in reference to a group of N.Y.C. scholars who take over their high school after their professor is unreasonably delayed and a patrol officer is inadvertently shot. Cast includes Guide Raymond, Woodland Whitaker, Marcello Robinson, Rosario Dawson, Robert Richard, Judd Nelson, Fredro Starr, Sara Gilbert, Glynn Turman, and Vanessa L. Williams (99 minutes, 1999)

Gypsy Colt: Delicate film of loyal horse who returns to mistress after parents vend it to speeding steady. Redo of LASSIE Go home. Cast includes Donna Corcoran, Ward Bond, Frances Dee, and Larry Keating. (72 minutes, 1954)

Lili Marleen: Second rate bender in reference to third-rate cabaret singer Schygulla, whose copying of the title melody becomes a hit in Nazi Germany. Captivating subject matter is pretentiously addressed. Cast includes Hanna Schygulla, Giancarlo Giannini, Mel Ferrer, Karl Heinz von Hassel, Christine Kaufmann, Hark Bohrn, Karin Baal, and Udo Kier. (120 minutes, 1981)

The African Queen: Marvelous amalgamation of souse Bogart who triumphed an Oscar and spinster Hepburn voyaging downriver in Africa throughout WWI, battling the factors and the Germans, and each other. Cast includes Katharine Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart, Robert Morley, Peter Bull, Theodore Bikel, and Walter Gotell. (105 minutes, 1951)

I Walked with a Zombie: Nurse Dee comes to Caribbean island to treat zombie-like spouse of bothered Conway, finds skeletons in clan pantry, plus local witchcraft customs and fables that can't be disregarded. The movie is loosely adjusted from Jane Eyre. Cast includes Frances Dee, Tom Conway, James Ellison, Edith Barrett, Christine Gordon, Theresa Harris, and James Bell. (69 minutes, 1943)

Soylent Green: Well-intentioned however cardboard adaptation of Harry Harrison's chemistry-fiction classic Make Room! Make Room! In the year 2022, Manhattan has gotten to be an overcrowded hell hole. Cop Heston, while examining the murder of a bigwig, trips onto explosive government secret which you'll compute out long before he does. Cast includes Charlton Heston, Edward G. Robinson, Leigh Taylor-Youthful, Get rid of Connors, Mike Henry, and Dick Minivan Patten. (100 minutes, 1973)

Malcolm X: This movie chronicles the life African America leader Malcolm X. He was a controversial leader of the black movement in the 1950's and 1960's. He became a Muslim, and then a Muslim leader He was eventually assassinated in New York in 1965.
